Nvidia 3D Vision Unboxing

Just unboxing the Nvidia 3D Vision Glasses. These use stereoscopic technology, which is the same as what they use over at IMAX. These paired with a 120hz monitor and compatible graphics card give your games real depth and 3D feel. Nvidia includes ALL the necessary cables in the box for connecting the receiver to a 3D ready DLP or projector. Currently, there are two 3D vision ready 120hz displays available, the Samsung 2233RZ and a ViewSonic model. Review coming soon, enjoy!…

No offense man but why would you buy glasses first and then the gaming PC? The glasses are cool and really just a Graphic bonus. It’s better to get gaming pc first and then decide for an additional #D graphic display.

Good thing it comes for windows. I just wouldn’t like to bother changing to Muckintosh.

120hz tv screens are “fake 120hz” you need real true pure 120hz and their is only 2 lcd monitors in existance which support this as of 2009.

  15. LifeLibertyLove says:

    The glasses alone cost 150$

  16. LifeLibertyLove says:

Not unless it is specified as 3d ready. I have a 120hz samsung television as well. However TV’s that claim to be 120hz are actually “fake 120hz” it does not accept 120hz input but rather takes a 60hz video and makes various calculations between frames to make an artificial 120hz video. So no you will have to buy a monitor. I suggest the ViewSonic VX2265wm it’s a 22″ 3d ready monitor for 250$ and it is the best deal you will get.

  17. Caesaurus says:

you forgot the 22″ Zalman ZM-M220W monitor! :-D

  18. CODOWNAGEWaW says:

  20. LcL1314 says:

    how many cost this glasses??

  21. 1981z28camaro says:

as appose to seeing two perspectives with using the 3D Vision kit that is. :-)

  22. 1981z28camaro says:

Most ppl think the games they have been playing all along have depth, but really that’s just a trick. and it’s nothing compared to seeing proper depth.

they think they are seeing depth because the objects have sides, and corners that they can walk around, BUT it’s no different than me drawing a box on a piece of paper with sides, it has no depth.

It of course is better in a game when you can walk around it, but when you stop walking, your seeing one perspective.

    Not two.

  23. 1981z28camaro says:

yeah, it wouldn’t be possible to see the 3D unless your actually using the glasses, this seems to be the main confusion about 3D Vision.

you have to render two different perspectives at the same time, and each perspective has to be filtered through each eye, and then your brain combines them, to create PROPER REALISTIC depth that you can measure.

it is essentially what your brain does with the real world, there’s a reason why we have two eyes :-)

Sure, i’ll post a demo of Aion in 3D, obviously it won’t appear 3D to you though.

  25. warmaxxx says:

how is 3d like? can you try recording it on cam xD.. i’m curious if it’s worth to buy a 120hz screen or 240hz screen and using this for gaming
