Brett Favre’s post game interview on NFL Live (NBC) just moments after he threw the game winning touchdown to WR Kitrick Taylor in the Packers 24-23 come from behind win over the Bengals. This interview was after the famous game that launched Brett Favre’s hall of fame carrer. Its great watching this video from 1992 for a couple entertaining reasons. One is when when Bob Costas asks Favre about Majkowski’s injury as if to say ”you are the starter untill Majkowski comes back”.Majkowski would …

  8. scotter420wigb says:

They did a good job of keeping sharp objects and knives away from OJ on “this episode”. I’m just glad OJ didnt kill Brett Favre.

  9. scotter420wigb says:

OJ was a killing machine, maybe he killed way back when he made those Hertz commercials Hurdling chairs carrying dead people in the luggage.

  10. slohurdler22 says:

favre played great in that superbowl.

elway played like crap. but he had terrel davis so he won.

    dumbass

  11. slohurdler22 says:

joe montana had much better teams.

he couldn’t rocket a ball into coverage like favre, hence his not a good stats

  12. nikehp99 says:

OJ !!!!!!!!!!!! why isent on tv anymore? lol jk

  13. scotter420wigb says:

Brett would of started the next season. Don was already on the way out, he just knew the offense better, not like Favre is a genius, he just can throw.

Brett Favre was never the “cool” like Joe Montana. Lost a lot of playoff games cause of foolish interceptions.

  14. scotter420wigb says:

Buddy Ryan!!! Watch out, O.J. has a knife!!

seriously, my co-anchor is an ax murderer.

  15. NYG42YTP says:

the injury to Don Majkowski was the best thing that happend to favre, or else he would NEVER get the chance be the HOF quarterback that he is now. (of coure he just a waffler now with the vikes)

  16. sonicclang says:

You are kidding, right? This was 1992, before OJ murdered his wife.

If the Packers defense didn’t collapse in the 2003-2004 NFC Divisional in Philadelphia when it was 4th & 26 with little time remaining, then Favre wouldn’t have tossed up an easy pick for the Philly defense in an overtime period that shouldn’t have been there, but the Eagles were able to convert on 4th & 26. Had they not converted, the Packers had that game wrapped up and we might even be talking about a Brett Favre that has 2 rings and three SB appearances. — another comment coming.

  21. mbgarbes says:

He’s been clutch in his career. Yes, he’s messed up in big games (2004 divisional vs Eagles – just remember 4th & 26–that was the worst fuck up he’s had) and he’s also rose in big games (SB 31) more times than he has screwed up in big games . For instance: GB vs. Seattle (2008 Divisional Playoff). Down 14-0, he rallied with Ryan Grant to win in harsh conditions. That Giants game wouldn’t even exist if he didn’t come up big in the game that got them to the NFC championship in the first place.

  22. mbgarbes says:

He had two turnovers in SB 32.. neither of them were his fault. The first, an interception, was from a deflection of what should have been an actual reception. The next turnover was from bad protection and Favre was stripped. Against the rams.. That was just a bad game for him and you know that happens to everyone.

But this guy has a ring and ANOTHER super bowl appearance.. to say he’s a turnover machine is just going too far, and I’ll say why in the next comment.

  23. subpar07 says:

You just named a couple games where he made mistakes.

I’m talking 39 4th qtr comebacks. 39!!! That’s 2.5 seasons worth of games of comebacks.

Yeah anyone can come up with a few games, and yes those were important games, but he has such a huge resume that anyone would have a large amount of games where they couldn’t come through.

  24. dancersara0403 says:

    so?

what he achieved outweighted those risks and you can not deny it

  25. copraiders1 says:

Those risks against Denver (three turnovers) cost them a super bowl. The risks against the Rams in the playoffs (six ints) and the risks against the giants (int in overtime) ended his team’s season. The guy is a turnover machine.
